Jason Davies, aged 53, sadly passed away at his home on Nottingham Drive, Bolton, on Monday, June 1.

Greater Manchester Police said there are believed to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Officers from the Police Coroner’s Office in Bolton are now asking anyone with information about Mr Davies’ next of kin to come forward.

Anyone who can help should contact the Police Coroner’s Office in Bolton on 0161 856 4687.

Police often put out appeals like this to help them trace the relatives of people who have died around the region before establishing a cause of death.

In UK law, there is no legal definition of “next of kin”, but it is usually understood to be the closest relative, whether a partner, parent, child or sibling.

Once the police have the details that they need, they will be passed along to the coroners’ office to allow a full cause of death to be established.
