Police appeal to trace family of Bolton woman who died
Greater Manchester Police’s Coroner’s Office is seeking information regarding the family of Margaret Fawdry, aged 60.
Ms Fawdry sadly passed away at her address on Kingsfold Close, Bolton, on Thursday, May 29, 2026.
Officers have confirmed there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.
As part of ongoing inquiries, police are urging anyone who may have information about Ms Fawdry’s relatives or next of kin to come forward.
Anyone with information is encouraged to get in touch as soon as possible.
Greater Manchester Police said in a social media appeal: “Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace the family of a woman from Bolton.
“Margaret Fawdry, 60, sadly passed away at home on Kingsfold Close, Bolton, on 29 May 2026. There are believed to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.”
Next-of-kin, while not fully defined under UK law, is usually understood to refer to the closest living relative, be that a parent, child or sibling.
