Popeyes has confirmed the opening date of its third location in Belfast.
Located at 5 Donegall Arcade in the heart of Belfast City Centre, the new restaurant will open at 11am on Friday, August 11, bringing the brand’s famous New Orleans hospitality to the former GAME unit.
On opening day, the first three customers will win the ultimate prize of free Chicken Sandwiches for an entire year.
The first 50 customers in the queue will receive exclusive Popeyes merchandise and the first 100 customers will bag a free Chicken Sandwich.
A spokesperson said: “Popeyes® has become known for its round the block queues on opening day across the UK, with fans regularly arriving from the early hours to be among the first through the doors.
“To be part of the action in Belfast, hungry customers are encouraged to arrive early to avoid missing out on the opening day giveaways.
“With dine in and speedy takeaway options available, fried chicken fans will soon be able to enjoy Popeyes® favourites like the iconic Chicken Sandwich, Signature Wraps and the Saucin’ Boneless & Hot Wings range.”
All Popeyes chicken is marinated for 12 hours in its signature blend of bold Louisiana seasoning, then hand breaded and battered to deliver that world famous “Shatter Crunch”.
The new Belfast store will create 50 new jobs for the local area.
