A popular bar in the heart of Cambridge is looking for new tenants. The Castle Bar on St Andrew’s Street has been listed by Greene King, who describe it as a “rare opportunity”.
The building is set in the heart of Cambridge’s “busiest nightlife district” and has been described as having a “strong reputation, high footfall and seven valuable letting rooms”, according to Greene King. The venue has been praised by locals and visitors alike as “very accommodating, kind, professional [and] welcoming”.
The venue is currently “wet-led” but a trade kitchen creates an opportunity for future tenants to introduce a “complementary food offer” alongside to broaden appeal and increase daytime trade.
The weekly rent costs £1,500, with the annual rent costs reaching £78,000. The estimated annual turnover for the Castle bar is £542,907, according to Greene King. The listing is offering a Standard Tenancy Agreement for a fixed five year term.
