Primary school teacher arrested in Lancashire brothel investigation
Lancashire Police said officers arrested the man on May 21 as part of an investigation.
He was later released on bail with conditions while further enquiries continue.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: “On May 21 our officers arrested a 52-year-old man in Thornton-Cleveleys on suspicion of prostitution – keeping a brothel.
“He was later released on bail with conditions, pending further enquiries.”
According to a report by The Blackpool Lead, the man is a senior primary school teacher.
Neither the teacher nor the school involved can legally be named at this time.
The arrest is separate and unrelated to an earlier investigation involving a Blackpool teacher, who was arrested alongside a woman in March on suspicion of keeping a brothel and money laundering.
The 58-year-old man was released under investigation, while the 54-year-old woman was released on bail pending further enquiries.
Lancashire Police said enquiries into the May 21 arrest remain ongoing.
