Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly planning a return to the UK, more than six years after their departure to California, according to the Press Association.

The Daily Telegraph reports that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be relocating to Britain later this month, settling into a non-royal property outside the capital.

Sources indicate there will be no alteration to Harry and Meghan’s current standing as private citizens and non-working royals.

The King was reportedly informed of the decision on Sunday and is said to be pleased at the prospect of spending more time with the family in both private and personal settings.

However, their official position remains unchanged, with no possibility of a “half-in-half-out” arrangement regarding their royal duties, PA reports, reports the Irish Mirror.

The Telegraph, which first revealed the news, states that the couple’s children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, are due to begin attending British schools in September.
