Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly set to return to the UK later this month, more than six years after their move to California
Harry and Meghan are reportedly planning a return to the UK. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex intend to relocate back to Britain more than six years after they first moved to California, according to the Press Association.
The Daily Telegraph reports that the couple will make their return to the United Kingdom later this month, settling into a private residence outside of London rather than a royal property.
It is understood that there will be no alteration to Harry and Meghan’s standing as private individuals and non-working members of the royal family.
The King was informed of the planned move on Sunday and is said to welcome the prospect of spending more time with the family on both a private and personal basis.
However, their status is set to remain unchanged, with the couple not being extended a “half-in-half-out” arrangement regarding their royal roles, PA reports, reports the Irish Mirror.
The Telegraph — which first broke the story — also reports that the couple’s children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, are enrolled to begin attending British schools in September.
