Princess Anne appeared to make a subtle reference to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when questioned about the idea of a “slimmed down” monarchy.
The Princess Royal, who is celebrating her 76th birthday on Saturday (August 14), has never commented directly on the couple since their departure from the Royal Family in 2020.
But, during an interview with CBC in 2024, Anne did seem to make a subtle references to the Sussexes with a cutting remark. responsibilities.
