Proper Pubs launch Community Hero Awards in Bolton
The scheme, run by Proper Pubs, will recognise individuals who go above and beyond to make a difference in their communities.
Nominations are open via QR codes displayed on posters, table talkers, and digital screens inside participating pubs, directing customers to an online entry form.
The Bolton pubs taking part include:
- Alma Inn
- Beeley’s Bar
- Gilnow Arms
- Keg & Thread
- Lamb Hotel
- Lord Raglan
- Royal Hotel
- Victoria
An independent panel will select a winner for each pub, with winners receiving a certificate and a bottle of fizz.
Three national winners will also receive £1,000 to donate to a local charity or community group of their choice.
An awards event will be held for national and local pub winners on the week commencing November 23 at their local Proper Pub.
These pubs are part of Proper Pubs, the award-winning community wet-led operator division of Admiral Taverns, which has more than 220 pubs across England, Scotland, and Wales.
