Ruby Wax has opened up about the truth behind her decision to do I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, and shares the sex secret Sharon Stone told her
Comedy legend Ruby Wax has opened up on why she finally decided to take part in last year’s series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, after previously stating that she would tell reality TV producers to “f*** off.” The 72 year old star who made a name for herself around the world after starring in a number of iconic sitcoms, revealed that she decided to join the show as she liked the line-up and thought she could potentially make friends.
The TV personality, who carved out a career for herself over the years interviewing high profile names including Madonna, Donald Trump before he was president and OJ Simpson, three years after his acquittal for murder, grew close to AngryGinge, Lisa Riley and many others while in camp.

In an interview with The Times she said: “I was worried about being stuck in the jungle with a bunch of a*******. That’s my nightmare — dish of kangaroo penis with a side of a*******..”
She continued: “But actually I liked the people so much and the jungle itself was so beautiful, I cried just hearing the sounds. And I made great new friends too.”

AngryGinge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, was crowned winner of last year’s series and the pair have reportedly already decided to work together in the future.
Ruby went on to say: “I liked him a lot, except when he said I reminded him of his nan. Why do young people say that? I hoped he’d say I was the coolest person he’d ever met.”
Ruby made a name for herself for being blunt and to the point, asking questions from high profile people most were too scared to ask. And when it comes to matters of intimacy, she is no different.
The TV personality has been married to her third husband Ed Bye for nearly 40 years. But it was during an interview with Hollywood starlet Sharon Stone, that she found out a sex secret as to why women do not have “decent orgasms”.
Ruby said: “Sharon Stone taught me exactly why women don’t have decent orgasms — because Hollywood tells men, ‘You have three minutes!’”.
Ruby met her husband back in 1986 when he was the director of the second series of the hugely successful sitcom Girls On Top. At the time, Ruby was reportedly trying to get him sacked from his role because she believed he was “incompetent.”
By her own admission she did not fancy him but her psychiatrist told her he was the right man for her to marry, following a string of poor choices.
She explained that they have their own arrangement which works for them. Explaining their marriage, she admitted: “I know that people are fascinated by us.”
“The arrangement is, we each do our own thing. I watch TV, Ed reads a book. It’s simple.” The couple share three children together, Max, 37 and two daughters Maddy, 35 and Marina, 32.
