‘Serious harm’ warning as ‘lethal’ medication stolen in Redcar
Midazolam and morphine, both injectable end-of-life medication, were reported stolen from a property on Charles Street in Redcar on Saturday afternoon, July 25.
Cleveland Police said the drugs could cause serious harm in the wrong hands and urged anyone who may have taken them to attend A&E immediately.
A spokesperson for Cleveland Police said: “We’re appealing for information after potentially lethal medication was stolen from an address in Redcar.
“The midazolam and morphine, which were reported as stolen from the property on Charles Street in Redcar this afternoon, Saturday, July 25, are both injectable end-of-life medication.
“They could cause serious harm in the wrong hands and anyone who may have taken it should report to A&E immediately.”
