A road closure and three-way traffic lights will be in place
A road closure will be in place for emergency works after a smell of gas was reported in Cambridge. The smell was reported at the junction of East Road, Mill Road, Gonville Place, and Parkside.
A road closure and three-way traffic lights will be in place from 8pm on Monday (July 20). Work will start on Tuesday.
A Cadent spokesperson said: “Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to complete these emergency repairs as safely and as efficiently as possible.
“If you smell gas, do not assume it is related to this work. Act immediately and call the national gas emergency service on 0800 111 999, day or night. All calls are recorded and may be monitored.”
