Spain vs Austria LIVE: Score and latest updates as Yamal bids for World Cup success

As anticipated, Spain have the majority of the ball but Austria are holding firm and carving out openings on the break.

Lamine Yamal so far? After his first-minute burst and shot, quite quiet, though he did just sumptuously nut-meg Konrad Laimer on the right-hand side.

21’ – Yamal nutmegs Laimer but is then tackled by Sabitzer. Parking two players on Spain’s star is working out OK so far.

A few seconds later Spain win a corner, then another that may actually have been a goal kick… and, yes, the decision is changed after a few seconds.

7’ – Into the seventh minute and Austria have had just short of 70% possession. That won’t be long in changing.
