St Helens Road Leigh closed as man hit by bus rushed to hospital
Emergency services were called to St Helens Road in Leigh this afternoon following the incident.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed a man was taken to hospital with “serious injuries”.

Police have not yet confirmed further details about the incident and enquiries are ongoing.
St Helens Road is currently closed in both directions, with traffic building in the area.
Traffic monitoring service Inrix reports: “St Helens Road, both ways closed, traffic congestion due to accident from Beech Crescent to Hand Lane.”
North West Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
