This time, £900 was handed over as part of an ongoing pledge to donate £25 for every new home sold and legally completed within the first phase of 163 new properties.

And this latest contribution brings the total donated to date to £1750, further supporting the essential work Baby Bank Scotland delivers from its hub at Allanshaw Industrial Estate in Hamilton.

The charity provides vital assistance to babies and children living in poverty by encouraging the local community to donate much‐needed items.

Janette Meechan, charity manager of Baby Bank Scotland, said: “Taylor Wimpey West Scotland’s continued support means more than they may ever realise. Demand for our services continues to grow, and donations like this allow us to respond quickly and with dignity to families who are struggling.

“Their commitment to the Hamilton community helps us ensure that no baby or child goes without the essentials they deserve.”

Audrey Ross, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, added: “We don’t just build new homes, and our commitment to Baby Bank Scotland remains an important part of how we support the wider Hamilton community.

“We’re delighted that the success of Oakwood Grove, where over 60 per cent of our new homes are now sold, allows us to continue contributing to such a valuable local charity, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact this latest donation will help to deliver.”

Taylor Wimpey West Scotland’s pledge to Baby Bank Scotland is one of many contributions the housebuilder is making towards community facilities and infrastructure in the wider area.
