Willow Grange Farm

As well as having an impressive farm shop stocked with local produce, the Willow Grange Farm has events and workshops running all throughout the year including a Mother’s Day afternoon tea. The afternoon tea will involve a range of staple dishes such as sandwiches, fruit scones, sausage rolls, and other sweet treats.
The afternoon tea can be enjoyed with a glass of fizz on arrival for £32.95 per person and costs £28 for just a standard experience. The afternoon tea will be running from 3pm to 5pm and tickets can be booked through the Willow Grange Farm website.
The Varsity Hotel and Spa
Location: Thompsons Lane, Cambridge, CB5 8AQ
SIX at the Varsity Hotel is offering an afternoon tea where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city of Cambridge alongside your selection of cakes, scones, and sandwiches. The afternoon tea costs £49 per person and is a more indulgent treat for the family.
If you don’t fancy an afternoon tea, you could also opt for the Sunday lunch at SIX or the set menu at the River Bar. A table at either restaurant can be booked via the Varsity Hotel website.
Cambridge Country Club
Location: Toft Road, Bourn, Cambridge, CB23 2TT
If you want to escape from city life for a day, you might want to visit the Cambridge Country Club. You can treat your mum and yourself to a day at the spa with a range of treatments on offer from massages and body scrubs to access to the club’s facilities like its sauna and swimming pool.

The spa has a Mum & Me package for you to spend two hours enjoying the spa facilities alongside a freshly baked scone and glass of fizz.

Quy Mill Hotel and Spa

Found just outside of Cambridge, you can enjoy a weekend away with your mum at the Quy Mill Hotel and Spa. The spa has a variety of packages available including options of half a day, a whole day, and even overnight stays that range in price from £55.
The Waterwheel restaurant is also offering a set menu costing £35 for three courses and £30 for two courses. A break at the hotel can be booked through the Quy Mill Hotel’s website.
