The Polish D-Day Story
The role of the Polish armed forces during D-Day and the Normandy Campaign of 1944 will be told at a unique event at the D-Day Story museum on Saturday 20th June and Sunday 21st June in Portsmouth.
The ‘Polish D-Day Story’ is organised by the charitable organisation 307 Squadron Project in partnership with the museum
The event, which aims to promote British-Polish friendship and cooperation, include:
– “The Polish D-Day Story” exhibition in Polish and English
– “For Your Freedom & Ours – The Story of the Polish 307 Squadron” exhibition in Polish and English
– Presentation and speeches by invited guests (approximately 11:00 on 20th June)
– Talk about Roman Czerniawski – ‘The Polish Spy Who Fooled Hitler’ (2pm on both 20th and 21st June)
– Unique multimedia materials
Entry to the event is included within the admission price to the website.
