Thief strikes at shop in Huntriss Row, Scarborough

North Yorkshire Police has issued a photograph of a man officers want to speak to in connection with the theft in Scarborough.

The force said the incident happened at a store in Huntriss Row on Friday, January 9.

Police issued the photograph of the man on Saturday (January 31), urging anyone who recognises him to contact the force.

“Please contact us if you recognise the man pictured on CCTV, as he may have information that will assist our investigation,” a police spokesperson said.

“Email Ben.Hepworth@northyorkshire.police.uk if you can help.

“Alternatively, you can call North Yorkshire Police on 101 and ask for PC 685 Hepworth or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.

“Please quote reference 12260005097 when passing on information.”
