Three new firms arrive at Northminster Business Park

The units are located at Northminster Business Park in York and were developed as part of a £3.3 million investment that transformed three former agricultural stores into modern, detached industrial buildings.

Located within a self-contained area of the park known as Cropton Court, the buildings feature energy-efficient technologies such as solar panels, translucent roof lights, high-bay LED lighting, and electric vehicle charging points.

George Burgess, managing director at Northminster Properties, which owns the business park, said: “Northminster Business Park has grown significantly in recent years and is now home to more than 50 businesses, employing approximately 1,000 people.

The units, which range from 6,250 to 8,250 sq ft, are now occupied by Yorkshire-based firms aiming to expand or consolidate while remaining in the region.

The new tenants include Dolphin Minerals, a wholesaler of crystals, minerals, fossils, gemstones, and related products; Automotive Equipment Solutions (AES) UK, a supplier of garage equipment for commercial vehicles; and Express Electronics, one of the UK’s fastest-growing electronic component distributors.

The buildings were jointly marketed by property consultancies GV&Co and PPH Commercial.

The business park is located less than four miles west of York city centre and is within walking distance of Poppleton Park & Ride and Poppleton railway station.
