Two vehicles crash on A168 in Topcliffe – crews called in

Four fire crews, police and paramedics were called to the scene on the A168 in Topcliffe, near Thirsk, shortly after 12.40pm on Sunday (March 8).

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said it received a report that people may be trapped inside the vehicles but arrived to find everyone outside.

A service spokesperson said: “Crews from Boroughbridge, Ripon, Easingwold and Northallerton were requested by ambulance to attend a road traffic collision involving two vehicles that had overturned with people potentially trapped inside.

“On crews’ arrival, all persons were out and had minor injuries, the incident was left with police and ambulance.”
