A body has been found in the search for two men who went missing from a coastal town in North Wales, police have said.

Simon Wilson and Connor Parfitt were seen on Tuesday evening, July 21, near the beach adjacent to Hafan-y-Mor, Pwllheli, on the Llyn Peninsula. The pair were thought to be heading towards the coastline with inflatable kayaks.

A huge search operation was launched, with police receiving support from Coastguard teams and the RNLI.

In a tragic update, police have said that 24-year-old Connor’s body was found on a beach in Aberystwyth, five days after he went missing. His family have been informed and are being supported by officers.

Simon has not yet been found. Officers are continuing to support his family.
