Who was the first housemate evicted from Big Brother 2026?
The show, which returned to ITV on September 13 with a new twist, placed Millie, Pauline, and Rochelle up for eviction in the opening public vote of the season.
Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best announced the result on Friday, September 19, revealing Millie had received the most votes and would be leaving the house after just five days.
She said: “I am actually quite shocked, I’m not going to lie.
“But do you know what, I had the best time and I love absolutely everyone in there.”
Greeted by cheers from the live audience, Millie reflected on her experience and suggested that not everyone wanted to stay.
She said: “I could hear the reaction from out here, and Rochelle doesn’t want to be in there.
“It’s a mix of everything, but I’ve made friends for life in there.
“So I’m happy.”
Earlier in the episode, housemate Tays was revealed as the secret mole and also left the house, wrapping up the show’s House of Chaos-themed launch week.
Big Brother confirms major new twist
Hosts AJ and Will confirmed that this year’s series will have a celebrity twist with Jedward joining the Big Brother house.
The pop duo appeared on the show in 2011, coming in third, before returning for an all-stars edition in 2017, when they were runners-up.
Jedward will now be entering Big Brother for a few nights as part of a special new twist to the ITV show.
It has also been hinted that the duo are not the only big names who will be entering the house, with other names including Gemma Collins, Kerry Katona, and JoJo Siwa suggested.
How long will Big Brother be on TV for?
Earlier this year, it was revealed that the upcoming series has been extended by an additional seven days, giving the show a full seven-week run.
Celebrity Big Brother, meanwhile, will not be back on our screens until the spring of next year.
The delay follows budget discussions between ITV and Endemol, the production company behind the show.
Kevin Lygo, ITV boss, said: “We’re thinking not on the main channel, that’s the answer.
