Police arrested a 52-year-old woman
A woman was arrested after a shop had its windows smashed. Cambridgeshire Police were called to reports of criminal damage at One Stop in Hargate Way, Hampton, Peterborough just after 10am on Saturday (August 15).
Some of the shop’s windows had been smashed, with boards currently in place to cover some of the damaged windows. Police arrested a 52-year-old woman.
A police spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.12am on Saturday (15 August) to reports of criminal damage at a shop in Hargate Way, officers attended and arrested Etiene Da Silva, 52, of Beaumont Way.
“She has since been charged with two counts of criminal damage and two counts of assault. She has been bailed to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on 18 September.”
