Woman arrested for ‘robbery and theft’ from shop in Goole
Humberside Police has arrested a 40-year-old woman yesterday afternoon (July 22) after she was circulated as wanted on suspicion of robbery and theft from a shop in North Street in Goole.
The incident happened at around 2.20pm on July 9 and saw a woman enter the shop, attempt to steal items, then reportedly assault staff members – who thankfully were not seriously injured.

“From initial enquiries, a woman was subsequently circulated as wanted in connection with the offences, with officers locating and arresting a 40-year-old woman yesterday, as a result,” said a spokesperson for the force.
She has been arrested on suspicion of robbery, four counts of theft from a shop, and using threatening, and abusive behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke violence.
The woman remains in police custody assisting with ongoing police enquiries at this time.
