Woman in her 50s dies after Limavady crash

Medical treatment was provided at the scene however, sadly, the woman passed away from her injuries a short time later.

A woman aged in her 50s has sadly died following a one-vehicle collision in Co Derry.

Police received a report at around 2.50pm on Sunday, August 16 of a collision involving a pedestrian and a car in the Drumrane Road area of Limavady.

Officers, along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, attended and medical treatment was provided at the scene. However, sadly, the woman passed away from her injuries a short time later.
