Woman seriously injured after car crashes into wall and gates

A 54-year-old man also suffered minor injuries

A woman suffered serious injuries after a car crashed into a wall and metal gates. Emergency services were called to the A141 Heath Road, near the headquarters of Manchett’s logistics, near Warboys.

A silver Skoda Octavia crashed into a wall and metal gates. No other vehicles were involved.

A woman from Brampton, who was a passenger, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries. The driver, a 54-year-old man from Brampton, was also taken to Addenbrooke’s but with minor injuries.

Sergeant Duncan Hall said: “I would like to hear from the driver of a dark Ford Fiesta, which was not involved in the collision, but didn’t stop at the scene as they could have vital information. I would also like to hear from any other witnesses or dashcam footage of either the collision itself or the moments before.”

Anyone with information should call police on 101 or report it online and quote incident 98 of July 2.
