York – thief targets hardware store for gardening equipment
North Yorkshire Police said the theft took place at 1.30pm on June 21 at the shop in Gillygate, close to the city centre.
Officers have released a CCTV image of a person they wish to speak to, saying they may have information which could help the force’s investigation.
A force spokesperson said: “Anyone with information is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police by emailing scott.nixon@northyorkshire.police.uk, visiting our website and selecting ‘Tell us about’, or using live chat on the website.”
The crime reference is 12260115113 and should be provided when contacting police.
