York’s Bombay Spice celebrates awards and nomination success

Bombay Spice at 58 Goodramgate has won Outstanding Achievement for Restaurant of the Year – Yorkshire and secured 3rd place for Outstanding Restaurant of the Year 2026.

Manager Mohammad Ali Akbar told the Press: “These prestigious awards recognize our commitment to culinary excellence, and we couldn’t be prouder of this incredible milestone.

“We want to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to our amazing staff members for their tireless hard work and dedication. Most importantly, a massive thank you to our wonderful customers—your continuous support and loyalty make success like this possible.

The restaurant, which opened in 2006, has also been nominated in the Northern England Curry Awards 2026 in the category Yorkshire Curry Experience of the Year.
