Australian Financial Review cartoon sparks controversy in Jewish community
Executive Council of Australian Jewry’s Alex Ryvchin details a cartoon released by the Australian Financial Review.
“Could you imagine if this were an African leader that was being depicted? Or an Asian leader, and whether you would see classic racist stereotypes,” Mr Ryvchin told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
“Again, with antisemitism, it’s of lesser concern; it’s a lesser form of racism, despite the failure of it that we’ve just witnessed.”
