This video is about the vertical balance sheet from class 12’s Accountancy chapter, Financial Statements (modern method) based on NEB. We have explained the concept and format for preparing balance sheet after income statement and statement of retained earnings. This video is also useful for BBS 1st year students for their Account’s chapter called Basic Financial Statements.
We need to calculate total assets by adding current assets, investment, property, plant & equipment and finally intangibles and fictitious assets. On the second part, we have to calculate total liabilities and stockholders’ equity by summing current liabilities and provision, long term debt, contributed capital and retained earnings.
