Changpeng Zhao — better known as CZ — says crypto is currently experiencing **the most favorable environment he has seen in 12 years**.

And his argument goes far beyond the outcome of the CLARITY Act.

In this interview, CZ explains why he believes the United States is moving in a fundamentally different direction on crypto regulation — and why what happens in America could ultimately influence the entire global cryptocurrency industry.

CZ argues that even if the current version of the CLARITY Act doesn’t pass immediately, the broader regulatory trend is what matters. According to his longer-term view, multiple crypto laws will eventually emerge, compromises will be revisited, and the industry will continue moving toward a clearer regulatory framework.

But the conversation gets even more interesting when CZ discusses **Hyperliquid** and the possibility of decentralized platforms gaining a legitimate path into the US market.
