The new BofA system will run through SWIFT and the bank’s CashPro digital platform via APIs and host-to-host channels, connecting to existing real-time payment networks like SPEI in Mexico, the Faster Payments Service in the UK, and Unified Payments Interface in India. It is NOT running on XRP, RippleNet, or any public blockchain — at least not at launch.
