🚨 XRP and Flare holders — you need to hear this. Flare Networks has TEMPORARILY paused FXRP cross-network bridging between Flare, Ethereum, Base, and other supported chains. Let me be crystal clear: this is a PRECAUTIONARY move, NOT a Flare exploit. FXRP on Flare itself remains FULLY operational — minting, redemption, and DeFi are all good (Flare Networks).

Here’s what actually happened: the broader DeFi ecosystem got hit by the largest hack of 2026 so far — the Kelp DAO rsETH exploit, which drained roughly 116,500 rsETH worth ~$293 million through a LayerZero OFT bridge vulnerability. Because Flare’s FXRP uses LayerZero’s OFT standard for cross-network transfers, Flare paused that specific route as a safety measure while the rsETH incident is investigated. The XRP Ledger → Flare bridge is a completely separate process and is NOT affected.

What this means for YOU:
FXRP on Flare = SAFE and fully operational
Minting, redemption, FAssets, DeFi on Flare = ALL WORKING
ONLY the OFT cross-network transfer route is paused
Users holding FXRP on non-Flare networks can’t currently redeem (must bridge back to Flare first)
Other protocols (Aave, Lido, Ethena, etherFi) paused similar features as precaution too
