MEGA XRP FLARE BOMBSHELL! THIS LITERALLY CHANGES IT ALL!

Flare just dropped the most important governance proposal in its history — FIP.16: “From Activity to Value Accrual” — and the vote is LIVE right now (April 17-24). This could change EVERYTHING for FLR and XRP holders.

Here’s what’s in it: Annual FLR inflation drops 40% — from 5% to 3%. The yearly issuance hard cap falls from 5 billion to 3 billion tokens. The base gas fee increases 20x (60 to 1,200 gwei), which lifts the annual FLR burn from 7.5 million to roughly 300 MILLION tokens — while transactions still cost fractions of a cent. And the biggest change: the creation of FIRE (Flare Income Reinvestment Entity), a protocol-level revenue pool that collects ALL fees from FAssets, Smart Accounts, Confidential Compute, data attestations, AND captured MEV — then uses them for open-market FLR buybacks and burns.

FIRE’s primary mandate is SUPPLY REDUCTION. Not growth. Not marketing. Supply reduction FIRST. It makes Flare one of the FIRST Layer 1 blockchains to capture MEV at the protocol level and redirect it from external searchers back into the network. In Q1 2026 alone, Flare logged 660,000+ cyclic arbitrage transactions and 1,000+ liquidation events — all value that would normally leak to third parties but will now flow into FIRE for FLR buybacks.

The math: at 3% inflation on 86 billion inflatable supply, gross inflation is ~2.58 billion FLR. Subtract the 300 million burn = net inflation of ~2.28 billion, or just 2.66%. As activity grows, FLR goes from inflationary to NON-INFLATIONARY to DEFLATIONARY. With 150M+ FXRP minted, $165M TVL, and 880K active addresses — the flywheel is already spinning.
