Monday May 25, 2026: Financial Markets update. Wars, Stocks, Oil, Gold, Silver, and SpaceX

Today I am bringing you a quick update on the Wordl’s financial markets. With respect to SapceX I briefly explain why a small float can be given a bigger weighting than a large float (same number of buyers so by issuing only a few shares the price will be higher than it would get if all the shares were available. I also mention Nasdaq’s new rule allowing inclusion in the Nasdaq 100 index after just 15 days instead of the usual 3 months and the multiplier ruule, allowing the size of a small float to effectively multiplied by 3x. I touch on Musk’s Super control and concerns expressed by some over the price that SpaceX paid for X Ai.
