Every time somebody suggests helping working #Americans, Republicans say the country is broke. Can’t afford healthcare. Can’t afford childcare. Can’t afford housing relief. Can’t afford student debt relief. Can’t afford paid leave. Can’t afford nothing. 🤷🏾♂️
But now suddenly there’s money for $5,000 checks if Republicans win the midterms?
So which is it? America is too broke to help its people, or we’re only allowed to find money when it helps win elections? The math ain’t mathing.
