Shehzad Poonawalla quits BJP, cites pressing financial and personal issues

BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla has resigned from the party, citing pressing financial and personal issues. He first submitted his resignation on July 30, but the BJP asked him to reconsider. Poonawalla said he has now made a final decision to leave both his spokesperson role and the party’s primary membership.
