STORYTIME : Childhood Trauma & Financial Struggles Changed Me Forever

I spent years trying to understand what happened to me as a child.

In this video, I’m finally opening up about some of the childhood trauma, abuse, and experiences I went through growing up with an abusive and narcissistic mother and a toxic family environment.

But this video isn’t only about what happened to me.

I’m also responding to some of the comments I received after sharing my story, comments that questioned my experiences, blamed me, or suggested that I was exaggerating what happened.

So today, I want to tell my side of the story.

I know that talking about childhood abuse can be uncomfortable, emotional, and difficult to understand from the outside. But survivors don’t always have perfect memories, perfect words, or a perfectly packaged story. Sometimes all we have is the courage to finally say, “This happened to me.”
