There’s a quiet assumption most of us carry without ever saying it out loud: that the next crash, whenever it comes, will look like the last one. A bank overreaches. A bubble pops. Panic spreads. But the economist in this video argues that America’s next crisis is already underway, and it’s nothing like 2008. This time the damage isn’t coming from too much finance, it’s coming from too little production.
