‘Worse than 2008 financial crisis’: Teves sees higher inflation, lower GDP due to Iran
Ex-finance chief Margarito Teves, Foundation for Economic Freedom Inc board member, is expecting higher inflation, higher interest rates and lower GDP due to soaring oil prices brought on by the Iran crisis.
“Akala ko yung global financial crisis nung 2008 and 2009 matindi pero mas matindi pa ito,” he said.
