XRP just got unlocked across Europe. On June 23, 2026 — eight days before the MiCA July 1 hard deadline — Ripple secured preliminary CASP (Crypto Asset Service Provider) approval from Luxembourg’s CSSF. Combined with Ripple’s existing EU Electronic Money Institution license (full approval February 2, 2026), this makes Ripple fully MiCA-compliant and clears the runway for the full rollout of Ripple Payments across all 30 countries of the European Economic Area.

This is the license that lets European banks, fintechs, and corporates access Ripple’s full crypto and stablecoin payments infrastructure — collect, exchange, and pay out — through a single integration for the first time. Ripple Payments already moves over $100 billion in volume across 60+ markets globally. Now it’s regulated to scale across Europe under MiCA passporting.
