Game Of Thrones’ Maisie Williams Addresses Arya Stark Spin-Off Rumours
At the beginning of this year, The Hollywood Reporter suggested that an idea for a Game Of Thrones follow-up film centring around Arya was in the “very early” stages of development.
When asked about this speculation during a recent interview with The Guardian, however, Maisie made it clear that no one had been in touch with her about the supposed project.
“I saw that, too! I was like, huh?” she admitted.
Maisie then confessed she’s not even sure whether she’d be up for returning to the role that launched her career, which she last played in the final season of Game Of Thrones back in 2019.
“She would have to be developed in some way because I feel like I’ve changed so much, and I feel like what people loved about Arya is that she was always a child doing things that were quite grown-up,” Maisie claimed.
