Grammy Awards 2026: Full List Of British Nominations

It might not be the strongest of showings for us Brits at this year’s Grammy Awards, but there are still a fair few notable names worth looking out for on the night.

On Sunday evening, the 68th Grammys are set to take place in Los Angeles, with Kendrick Lamar leading the way with an impressive nine nominations off the back of his album GNX.

For the most part, the categories are dominated by American artists like Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter and Tyler, The Creator, but a handful of British performers are also in the running for awards.

Which British stars have been nominated at the 2026 Grammy Awards?

Turning our attention to the main categories, both Olivia Dean and Lola Young (the two top nominees at the upcoming Brit Awards) are in the running for the coveted Best New Artist.

Lola’s signature hit Messy is also up for the Best Pop Solo Performance prize, while in the Pop Duo/Group Performance category, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande’s Defying Gravity has also been recognised

Cynthia is one of the top-nominated Brits of the year with three nods in total, including additional recognition for the Wicked soundtrack and her solo song Be Okay, which is up for Best Acapella Arrangement.

There are more Brits to be found in the genre-specific Rock and Dance categories, though.

In the Best Dance/Electronica Album shortlist, three of the five nominees are from the UK, with FKA Twigs, Fred Again.. and PinkPantheress all in the running for their latest releases.

Meanwhile Disclosure’s Anderson .Paak collab No Cap and Fred Again.., Skepta and Plaqueboymax’s Victory Lap are also in contention for the Best Dance/Electronic Recording prize, while Chris Lake’s take on The Chemical Brothers’ Galvanize is up for a remixing award.

As for the rock and alternative categories, Sleep Token and Yungblud are in the running for three awards, while The Cure and Wet Leg are up for two each.

Girl group Flo have also landed their first Grammy nomination in the Best Progressive R&B Album category, while composer John Powell’s work on Wicked and How To Train Your Dragon has earned him two nods.

Completing the list of British nominees this year are five-time winner Elton John (Best Song Written For Visual Media), four-time winner Sade (Best Music Video) and Raye (Best Music Film).

Wet Leg’s third nomination is in the Best Album Cover shortlist, and Raye has also won one of this year’s honorary awards in the Harry Belafonte Best Song for Social Change Award for her song Ice Cream Man.

The 2026 Grammys will take place on Sunday 2 February, with Trevor Noah once again on hosting duties.
