Justin Bieber caught Grammy Awards viewers off guard on Sunday night, when he hit the stage in just underwear to perform a stand-out track from his latest album.

Heading into this year’s Grammys ceremony, the Canadian star had racked up four nominations off the back of his most recent release, Swag, including in the coveted Album Of The Year category.

The As Long As You Love Me singer was also invited to perform during the broadcast, in what marked his return to the Grammys stage for the first time since 2002.

For his first Grammys performance in four years, Justin – who has fronted numerous underwear campaigns for Calvin Klein over the years – was seen on stage completely solo, having stripped down to just some boxer shorts and socks to perform the Swag cut Yukon.

During his performance, in which the singer-songwriter played the guitar and using loop pedals to accompany himself, producers also cut several times to his wife Hailey Bieber in the crowd, who was seen spurring him on from the audience.

Right before this year’s Grammys ceremony got underway, Justin and Hailey walked the red carpet together, in what marked their first official public appearance together since 2022.

The two wore matching black ensembles for the occasion, and were also among the stars sporting “ICE out” pins in light of the current unrest in the United States.

Justin and Hailey have been married since 2018, and in August 2024, they welcomed their first child, a son who they named Jack.

Swag was Justin’s first new album release since 2021, and was quickly followed by a more pop-inspired companion piece, Swag II, just two months later.
