Melania Trump’s 1st Public Appearance In A Month Inspires Online Suspicion

Melania Trump made her first public appearance in a month on Thursday, but the timing of her return to public life just inspired a lot of suspicion on social media.

The first lady attended a White House event announcing the launch of Fostering The Future, a new scholarship program that helps young adults transition out of foster care.

It was her first appearance in public since she appeared at the World Cup final on July 19.

“I heard you missed me,” Trump said to the crowd gathered in the Rose Garden. “Here I am.”

Although the purported purpose of the first lady’s appearance was to promote the initiative, many people on social media were suspicious whether that was the real reason – or whether there was a Natalie Harp factor.

The White House has recently been rocked by revelations of Trump’s close relationship with Harp, an aide who is known as the “Human Printer,” and for her “extreme devotion” and “borderline obsession” with the president.

Harp’s relationship with Trump has gotten closer scrutiny this week after Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff (Democrat) referred to her in a speech on Sunday, saying the president doesn’t actually “want to do the job,” and instead “wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace gifted by the emir of Qatar.”

And, yes, social media had thoughts. Lots of thoughts.
