Netflix Will Add The Walking Dead To UK Catalogue In 2027

First came the news that Netflix is working on a The Inbetweeners reunion movie.

And the happy updates keep coming – the streamer will also add 371 episodes of zombie thriller The Walking Dead, and a range of spin-offs, to its UK site in 2027.

That’s part of a new deal between Netflix and AMC Global Media that’ll last for five years (though it could be renewed). Netflix has been the home of The Walking Dead since 2011.

But this arrangement will see them add the original show and its related titles to their UK, Italy, Australia, and New Zealand catalogues, too (it’ll be released co-exclusively with AMC+).

They’ll come out at different dates according to location, based on where each region’s current streaming deals expire.

Alongside The Walking Dead, Netflix will also add the following offshoots:

• Fear the Walking Dead,
• The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon,
• The Walking Dead: Dead City,
• The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live,
• The Walking Dead: World Beyond, and
• Tales of The Walking Dead.

In all, this amounts to 371 bingeable episodes.
