Featured tee times for Round 3

As the Truist Championship moves into the weekend at Quail Hollow Club, one featured group stands out: Xander Schauffele and Jordan Spieth.

In a candid moment during Wednesday’s press conference, Schauffele shared that there has been a pattern in his PGA Tour season.

“I haven’t really been in touch with the lead too much in most events. Overall just a few things here or there that I need to do a little bit better in the matter of four days to get myself over the finish line,” Schauffele said.

His ongoing search for better all-around execution comes as he enters a critical stretch of the season. With three majors left on the calendar, the priority is finding a fully synchronized game — or as Schauffele puts it, “trying to find a way to get everything to kind of click at the same time.”

Alongside Schauffele, there’s also added intrigue surrounding Jordan Spieth as we head toward the PGA Championship — the only major missing from his career Grand Slam. Watching both players this week at Quail Hollow adds another layer to the weekend: not just who can contend now, but who’s looking ready for golf’s second major championship.

Spieth and Schauffele will tee off at 10:50 AM ET.
