Madueke gets free on the right again but this time he sees his cross sail into the gloves of Sanchez. This game is definitely heating up though!

There is a brief break in play however, with Gusto down and needing treatment.

Delap does well at the other end to win a free-kick around 30 yards out, towards the wing.

“They haven’t laid a glove on Arsenal. They need to win the game – Arsenal don’t need to do anything” points out Paul Merson on Sky.

“It’s a dangerous game,” he adds as he ponders Chelsea’s tactics.

They’ve nullified the Gunners but they haven’t provided enough in attack to upset the hosts at all so far. That’ll need to change in the second 45 minutes.

Nevertheless, the Blues are still in this tie and they have plenty of options off the bench, not least Cole Palmer and the returning Estevao.

Arsenal are on their way to Wembley as it stands but there’s plenty of time left in this one!
