Canada-Panama game to start in delay at World Baseball Classic

It is unclear when the contest, originally scheduled to start at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT, will get underway. But Baseball Canada said it would provide updates.

Canada is turning to Chicago Cubs right-hander Jameson Taillon for the game, and Panama is giving the ball to former big-league Jaime Barria.

The Canadians opened their tournament with a win over Colombia on Saturday. Panama is 0-2 after losses to Cuba and Puerto Rico.
