Former NBA guard Cole Anthony is heading to Australia after agreeing to join Melbourne United in the NBL.
The 26-year-old spent six seasons in the NBA, playing five seasons with the Orlando Magic before joining the Milwaukee Bucks last season.
Now, Anthony is taking on a new challenge in Australia and has signed a one-year deal with Melbourne United.
His arrival is one of the biggest moves of the NBL offseason and adds another former NBA name to a Melbourne side that also features Joe Ingles.
For Anthony, the move gives him a chance to take on a leading role and make his mark in a new league.
And judging by the reaction to the announcement, NBL fans are already excited to see him play.
